Date of production

Post by DerekMc »

Just curious to know if there is a way to work out by serial number roughly when a watch was created as my C9 Harrison has arrived (and will be photographed in due course to bore you all with) and I am just a little curious as it is secondhand, if I can tell the age,,, 8)

I'm afraid there is no documented correlation between serial number and date of production. Pity you were not able to get the user manual or delivery letter...

There you go then, and now you know for next time.

Top notch and good that you've got both the letter and Owners Handbook from the previous owner.

Looking forward to seeing photos.

The date on the CoA page is date of sale / dispatch from CWL - production will have been earlier ....
