Do Sellitas and ETA’s wind both ways?
I have an ETA in a non-CW watch, it winds in one direction only.
As it happens, it winds counterclockwise... opposite direction of the SH21... So if I have both watches in the winder, I need to set it to rotate in alternating directions to keep both watches wound.
Not a big issue, though, I can live with that
Back when I used winders, my quite inexpensive quad watch winders had the capability of setting each individual watch position for separate TPD, interval and direction. I had always assumed that to be standard...

Ah ok.
Bit of a pain for you then?
I have more than one watch but I don’t own a winder.
I just wind, set and go.

On my winder, TPD, interval and direction can be set, but not individually per position... settings apply to both positions.
Not a big issue, I can set it to alternate the direction.

The ETA 2824 and Sellita 200 feature bi-directional winding. I don't know if that is the case with all ETA calibres, one would have to check, but my Fortis with a 2895 movement winds bidirectionally and I can also say that the ubiquitous 2836 winds bidirectionally.
Meanwhile the ETA Valjoux 7750 which is often found in CW Chronometers only winds clockwise, though ETA acquired Valjoux some years back.

Yes pretty much standard, but per turntable.
