Re: Is Santa Claus delivering any watches this year?
Not only is St Nicholas delivering a CWE blue and white C60, he is delivering a vintage cocktail watch to my wife: her first EVER non-quartz watch.
Some folk here follow the Alex Barter (ex Sotheby's head of watches) shop in Salop: Black Bough.
I bought her a wee 1960 watch in all-but unworn condition from there, having once bought myself a vintage Omega Genève.

Sounds excellent Steve and no doubt you both deserve them.bspj wrote:Not only is St Nicholas delivering a CWE blue and white C60, he is delivering a vintage cocktail watch to my wife: her first EVER non-quartz watch.

Nope. They seem to be going like hot cakes at the mo. Not sure if I'm missing something there but think I've got enough c60's at present. Maybe a GMT needs to be added but apart from that.......StrappedUp wrote: ↑Sat Dec 15, 2018 11:42 am C60 white/black that is currently sitting in the NN section?

The Tudor BB GMT = lovely watch
I was at my local AD's yesterday (enquiring after a specific Longines ) and they had one in the display cabinet...I was seriously tempted!

An unidentified packed arrived this morning from 'overseas'.Bahnstormer_vRS wrote:I messaged Santa on WhatsApp a couple of days ago, to ask if he might be able to deliver a Deep Sea for me this Christmas (I've not got a chimney so mentioned he could leave it behind my purple bin).
He messaged back to say where on earth did I think he would get one of those at this time of year!
Nevertheless, he would Sea (bit of a lame pun) what he could do.
