PMs sitting in Outbox for many hours

Post by albionphoto »

Not a post about CWs. I have noticed that I have PMs sitting in the Outbox for many hours. One PM was delivered after approximately 12 hours and I have another sitting there for over 18 hours. Normally delivery is much quicker. Is it me? Or does somethong need tweaking?

PMs will sit in your outbox until the recipient reads them.

.... and then transfer to your Sent box.

A very useful feature I find.

This confused and worried me the first time I sent a PM. Once I was told why it happens I thought it was a handy feature.

Interestingly, if you send a PM to more than one person, either co-recipient or BCC, it goes into Sent as soon as the first person reads it.

Thanks all. I've learned something today. Having to do leaves aside; this has not been a wasted day.

That confused the hell outta me too!
Then a mod cleared it up for me.

Odd feature though.

This thread seems to have a bit of mods one upmanship.
