How long do Limited Editions last on the website?

Hi Guys,

I was wondering with all the new limited edition watches getting released, how long does it take for a LE watch to sell out on the CW website?

Thanks

Max

Tricky question to answer, as it all depends on the watch, the quantity in the LE etc. Some sell out in days/weeks, others hang around a lot longer.

The white Trident SH21 LE is still available with the old logo...

Thanks for the replies, I asked because I saw that the yellow trident LE is still available on the website, even though it was released in April which I thought was a bit odd.

I think the C900 single pusher was on there for years, that was a LE run of c.250

As others have said..."It all depends..."
Cost/numbers/popularity - perhaps someone could come up with an equation?

Another long available one was the BofB C5. I think the run was 1940 so that, and the fact that it was a bit plain, meant it took a while to work through.

The C65 Trident Mk1 LE was low numbers, attractive and reasonably priced, so it flew away.

I personally think the c65 le is one of the best looking they have produced. As you say Paul, maybe because of the small numbers that is a factor, but they don't come up very often and hold their price

The white Trident SH21 LE old logo is now in NN @ £1270.50 - nearly new or actually brand new and on clear out...

They would probably put it in the 30% Off section if it is brand new and clearing them out, no?

I don't think they like discounting LE models from this price point and in some respects advertising them as NN gives a reason to discount and clear out and if they happen to send out a pristine new one that's up to them. No evidence to suggest that's what they are doing, just a hunch.

I can't remember whether it was a LE, but a couple of years ago the C1000 appeared as NN (30% off) for several weeks and then they offered them new a couple of months later at 50% off.
