Yes, and left it on the underground to spread the ward.

<t>^^^ I had intended to say similar to Nordwulf's post but he's worded it better and more concisely than I would have.<br/>
<br/>
I know some people prefer to have the physical magazine to read and keep but I'm happy to read it on a screen as I don't keep it more than a couple of months for a few reads so will try to stop my printed copy in the new year if I can see how to do that. Also CW don't exactly make reading the digital copy desirable as they state "... it's not a substitute for the real thing". Maybe the website wording needs amending to attract more readers onto the digital copy and also add an option to transfer off the printed copy onto the digital form.

For the continuing printed copy are the current paper and ink used the most eco-friendly available while still giving a good and acceptable finish?<br/>
<br/>
My copy was 1 of those still in the plastic cover BTW.</t>

PS - why have the control characters started showing when submitting a post from a draft copy?

Physical copies that land out of the blue in the post are probably a good thing for people interested in a nice watch, but who are not obsessed with watches and/or don't participate regularly on the forum. So when it lands on the coffee table, it's likely the latest featured models may well be the first time that person has seen them and may hook them in. CW obviously feel that they get a good return on investment for the publication, otherwise they wouldn't do it.

For what it's worth I think they should give the option at sign-up for either a digital or hard copy, with those preferring digital receiving an email with the link to access it, when the edition is released - perhaps even give digital subscribers the copy 48hrs early as an incentive. For existing subscribers, update the dashboard so that you can state your preference.

Personally I receive the hard copy, most of which are still in the plastic sleeve and spend 5 mins reading the digital issuu.

I received my copy and my wife received 2 copies, 1 in her current name and one from her previous name, is there a way of getting off the mailing list? I do like a look through a hard copy when it arrives, but 3 is a bit much!

For those of you wishing to opt out of receiving Loupe Magazine or to sort out multiple copies should email either
privacy@ or marketing@christopherward.co.uk and simply request to opt out or sort multiple copies.

CW is in the process of building “preference center” connected to your CW account so that you will be able to manage your marketing preferences
online through your account. I am certain they will let us know when this is live.

On the marketing preferences thing, I'm assuming CW have covered their backs with GDPR....?

My plastic covered loupe arrived at last today. I'd be happy to receive a naked copy.

In Canada: no plastic wrapper, just an envelope.

^^^ Were you on the mailing list or did you order recently via the website?

Usually if mailed from CW Towers they come in an envelope.

Oh good. Maybe I’ll finally get mine this week. If CW really wants to increase other markets, they could start with not sending their magazine to other countries a month or two after “release.” Just sayin’.

I think that Loupe is one of the most interesting watch magazines out there, and it is bloody good of CW to send them out for free!

A great example of the CW ethos is the way that they essentially promote other UK brands in this months edition.

I look forward to every edition popping through my letter box, cover or no cover, and thank them greatly!!!!!
