I heard this has happened to a few of the new Loupe magazines before being delivered
What? Some guy on the lavatory translated it into German?

The half minute which we daily devote to the winding-up of our watches is an exertion of labour almost insensible; yet, by the aid of a few wheels, its effect is spread over the whole twenty-four hours.

No way I'm going to admit what search term I used. You should have seen what else popped up

Mine was in the wrapping.

But my postie normally rotates between a Submariner, SKX and a Nautilus, so I guess he wasn’t really interested in removing the plastic to read the magazine.

Postmen wearing PP and Rolex?
Nah. [-X
Ok a Nautilus is a stretch, but why wouldn’t my postman wear a Rolex? :)

For those of you that received Loupe minus the wrapper...

Was the address printed directly on the back cover or was the label taken from a wrapper that was damaged in transit perhaps, and affixed otherwise?

The address is / was printed on the back cover of the magazine. Has been for some years.

I got home on Saturday and found my Loupe on the dining table without wrapper. Either it arrived that way (likely) or my son has taken an unexpected interest in CW and watches (unlikely).
