That happens occasionally with web orders in foreign countries and that is actually a good thing. I submitted a new order and was able to apply the 150CW18 code. My credit card account shows US$ 808.61 after conversion so that's a great price including express shipping. It won't go out until tomorrow though but I am not complaining. That price will also bring it under the $800 tax free limit.

What is the $800 tax free limit?

Looks great on the webbing strap! And I've just got my deposit returned from my Halios order.... hmmm, can always return it!

It’s nice but I have to say I’m in the minority camp of preferring the stainless bezel.

The day complication isn’t something I find useful - I always (at least usually!) know what day it is, but not the date. And COSC is great but the normal C60 is plenty accurate for me. Think I’ll be hanging onto my Blue 316L.

Shipments from foreign countries with a value up to $800 won't be taxed when they arrive here in the US.

Seeing that invoice, I can't help but feel like i'm being ripped off in the uk. Same watch no delivery would be £745

Oris staghorn is nicer, if more expensive.

Just looks like they made a parts bin containing all the parts from recent successful Tridents and then did a lucky dip, which will inevitably make for an eye-pleasing watch.

Or maybe I'm just having a glass-half-empty day :(
I'm with you. I don't know that I like the Black/Blue thing. It looks better on the bracelet to me, to me with the strap it all just seems a bit incongruous. The SS to me looked better. I'm not in the market, though, so my opinion doesn't matter :D

Not a fan of blue or any coloured dial for that matter other than black/white.

Just a personal opinion.

Greetings,

It's clearly a popular colour now for CW but I agree with Ttf23.

I wonder what colour is next for the 316 series?

Normally like the Trident but not sure about this one...seems to me the dull blue face clashes with the shiny bezel....very difficult to better the white face version.

Perhaps if it would have looked better with the bezel from the original Day/Date COSC

I can understand the mixed reaction to the black/blue combo - I tend to like it as long as it's a deep blue :)

Just landed...first impressions are I like it, but only given it a quick look after unboxing.
Couple of observations - the time wasn't set and the cosc certificate was only dated last month, so these are factory fresh.

Wow, thanks for the pictures. It looks even better than I thought it would. Love the combination with the webbing strap, same combo I ordered. Mine should ship today but have to wait until middle of next week to get it.

Which serial number did you get? Congrats!
