A sucker for a C60.....

Post by Richard D »

I have owned 8 C60 Tridents of which 6 remain in my collection, 2 have be gifted to my boys. With the Mk3 on the horizon I can see others will follow, not forgetting the CWE LE early next year. I guess I’m a sucker for a Trident, are you?

I certainly am. Although in my case more so CWL divers, as you can then include my C6/C60 Kingfishers and C600 Tri-techs.

Yep, they're not too shabby.

Always liked the teardrop hour hand.

I must admit I am tempted to add another one or two, but I'll see what the MK111 looks like first.

I bought mine as a dive watch but I've become too precious over it for that!

I’ve got 2 c60’s and really want another one. I looked at Oris Aquis today and I was struggling to see why they are double the price of a trident!

Yep I like them...currently own 3 and used to own 3 others.

Per my signature I have the 2012 FLE's Scooter blue and red Jag mk1 Tridents plus a mk2 Trident 300 black face, green bezel.

I previously owned and slightly regret selling my two white faced mk2 Tridents, one with the blue bezel and one with a red bezel, had to go to make way for other additions to the collection. I also owned the C65 Trident LE which is another CW classic.

I seem to have ended up with five, a mixture of 38mm and 43mm. Four of which are normal previous production models, plus the one off Orange ceramic bezel prototype.

Five for me.

Three are C60 Tridents; a MkI Chronometer, a Pro 600 Titanium variation #1 and my renowned Pro 600 Chronograph P'type.

my other two are C60 Kingfisher Auto LEs; one a yellow dial version, the other a recently acquired burnt orange;-

plus, if allowed, a mention of my three C6 Kingfishers; forerunner to the C60.

Guy
The first chronograph I have seen in twenty years (since I heaved my oh so boring Breitling) that I could see myself owning - that is, the stock model, not your one-off Guy!

Outstanding.

Whereas I prefer Guy's one-off Trident Chrono to the standard ones. But then, I have history with those colour options:

(This dates from about 2004 I think, but I still have it and it still works well! Hasn't had wrist time for a couple of years though as I'm quite far from it...)

Although I will say that I loved all three watches Guy posted; he has fantastic taste! :)
