I guess they just like the Malvern Hills. From the CW website:
Named after the rolling hills of Worcestershire, Christopher Ward’s first watches were the C5 Malvern Automatic and C3 Malvern Chronograph, which caused shockwaves in the watchmaking industry thanks to their attractive pricing and top-end functionality. So it’ll come as no surprise that we’re more than a little fond of all the timepieces that carry the Malvern name. We think you’ll feel the same way.

Malvern, hills and rolling landscape, genteel middle England, the Queen's favourite mineral water, Elgar (think Nimrod, Gerontius and the 'cello concerto)...

...Quintessentially English! :pal:

The C13 and C15 were named "Henley" - also quintessentially English. :cylinder:

It's a classy name too, conjures up thoughts of the classics for me also.
