Many of us don't care about famous people that are brand ambassadors for watch companies, including myself. But sometimes I wonder who would be a good brand ambassador for CW. Any thoughts?
This will never happen but would be pretty awesome. I think CW agrees:
If the C65 Trident Diver captured the look and feel of the iconic dive watches worn by Sean Connery as 007, the C65 Trident GMT reflects the jet-setting Bond for whom the ‘60s unveiled a whole new age of globe-spanning opportunity.

I watched Spectre last night and browsed through the Omega catalog, it got me thinking about the face/faces of CW.
I searched the forum, to see if it had been discussed before and came across this thread.
Obviously, it's of little interest, judging by the lack of responses.
But at least I got to see that great Mock up of Sean Connery.
And the reply from Thermexman, which i saw as "Frank Bruno"
I've tried thinking of someone who would be my choice, and who could Grace the digital billboards of London, and inspire people to invest in the brand.
Unlike Bond I'm currently firing blanks, perhaps that's the issue.
Interesting thread to resurrect. Deciding on a face for CW is an intriguing challenge. I suppose from CW’s end, it would depend on who they envision as their customer base. I think it would certainly need to be someone from the UK, as it’s a UK brand. My thoughts tun to Ralph Fiennes or maybe Benedict Cumberbatch purely because they are two of my favorite English actors.
If Americans were an option, I’d suggest Ryan Gosling. He’s young (isn’t CW skewing that way?), cool in a super chill way, and a definite watch guy. And it’s the right kind of watches - nothing flashy or over the top.

Perhaps it should just be a brand for those to whom the cult of cele-bore-ity is anathema.
Steve The half minute which we daily devote to the winding-up of our watches is an exertion of labour almost insensible; yet, by the aid of a few wheels, its effect is spread over the whole twenty-four hours.

I think Sean Connery is a poor choice, he was a hypocrite in regards to handguns and he beat his first wife black and blue.
