A CLW wearer will never be a stranger.

Sorry Ian, this was started for 2 reasons,

Firstly, the thread "How often do you see strangers wearing a CW?" has, on the odd occasion, seen some people called out / questioned or reprimanded for posting "I haven't ever seen anyone wearing a CW" with them being pointed to the thread title and told, "this isn't the I have never seen a stranger wearing a CW thread".

Secondly, because I was in a silly mood this morning and wanted a distraction from work.

One of my work colleagues wears a cw, he is very strange.
Does that count?

I met a guy in our North East office who has a couple of CW's, I also once saw a guy on a train wearing a C3 Malvern mk 1 on a gold bracelet

I engaged in a watch convo with the former, not the latter (not unsurprisingly  )

People obviously think that backward facing "D" is "CL"

The real question should be: If you were never to see a stranger wearing a CW watch, would your life be poorer for the not seeing of said stranger and his watch and would it be best to not see him on any particular day and if so, which day would be best?
I’d say yes and probably go with Wednesday but I know not why!

I keep a lookout but have never seen anyone, friend or foe, with one on.

My local independent watch repair guy has been fairly interested in them when I've gone in to get bracelets adjusted but he says he used to see quite a few but doesn't anymore.

The fact they aren't common does mean I end up spending ages explaining who CW are to friends when they ask about what watch i've got on.

I work in London, am always looking at what commuters wear and I have never seen a CW on a wrist.

Is this a bit like the question "If a tree falls in the woods but nobody sees or hears it fall did it really fall" ?

So if I never see a stranger wearing a CW watch then CW watches have never been produced?

Apologies if that's a bit too profound (or too stupid) for late on a Thursday evening.

A bit but then it's been a long week

Well you know CW watches have been produced because we all have them, and the pictures to prove it :)

I have definitely not seen another CW in the wild. I wonder how many of us there are in the Chicago area? I do always peek to see what others are wearing, but it is always the usual suspects.
