C65 Trident Diver

Post by Henry14 »

How soon can we expect to see some reviews, very tempted by the blue using the well timed voucher?

"Like many of the watches of the period it draws influence from, the C65 Trident Diver contains a hand-wound movement – in this case, the Swiss-made Sellita SW210. Its 3.35mm height makes it the perfect choice to fit within the C65’s slimmed-down case."

Hope this helps.

I think an order is going in soon, just looking for a decent review to tip me over.

I am finding the C65 vintage diver a bit difficult to judge if the price is good for the whole package.

As it's only just been released there won't be any independent reviews yet. Josh (@ eggtronics) at WIAA may well have one to review at some juncture.

It looks a handsome watch but a tad expensive (the £100 voucher may sway though).

Just received the email from CW. Very nice looking watch.

(yes, I'm still alive but have not been visiting. Really busy with work and when free, I'm more likely to be on a particular Linux forum because I help out there).

I am liking the look of this more and more. As has been commented on previously, my main concern is the 12 & 6.
Might have to think about moving on my mk1 C65 to accommodate it if I do plump for one. But then I wouldn't have any white face watches. Unless I move on the Samurai Padi..
Oh my, decisions decisions.

I'm intrigued by this one as well, and it's been awhile since CW caught my attention. With a smaller bezel, it may wear a little big. That's my only real concern with the watch.

About the vouchers, did they just come out? Can't remember if I tossed mine or if I haven't received it yet.

Edit: Nevermind, I just read the specs. Why did they stick a 22 mm strap on the watch? I may have to pass just because of that.

Ugly dial.

It is vintage diver. Really? What reason for use "Christopher Ward" at 9? Hand wound with Sellita? Oh?! Too poor choice.

Remove "Christopher Ward", add SH21, add matt ceramic for bezel with old radium. And brushed mesh bracelet :)

Ceramic bezel would really be vintage hey as all watches in the 60’s used ceramic bezels! ](*,)
