What do you want CW to release next

Post by golfjunky »

Personally I would like a 40mm C60/C11 Makaira hybrid thingy of some sort in a great range of colours. A 38mm no date dress watch and a 40mm thinner C8
Current collection = Omega Seamaster 2225.80.00, Omega Speedmaster 'Moonphase' 3576.50.00, Breitling Aerospace Evo, Vintage Azur, Vintage Seiko Sprtsman, Grand Seiko SBGX059, Omega SMP NTTD 210.92.42.20.01.001, Casioak Milkyway, Casioak Tiffany Sky.

That's a good shout. The CW's I have been most drawn too have been the Trident (obviously by far the biggest commercial success of CW, I assume) and the C11 range (I owned 5 of them and still have the Elite).

The Tridents are quite flexible in that you can get away with wearing one with a suit as well as a casual wearer. It's often been stated round here that with 38mm (too small for many) and 42/43mm (too large for others) that 40mm would be an obvious progression.

The C11's are such a great leisure/sports watch and I think they were really popular also due to the range of bright colours. It's a pity they were discontinued.

As Patrick said, good call Greg. I’m guessing an internal bezel but looking more like Trident. Crowns at 2 and 4... so a super-compressor Trident in a manageable size.

I’d also be quite happy to see the C11 range back in a 40mm case size. Just give us minute markers on all models please...

40/41mm
GMT version with red hand (not the existing yellow/orange colour)
case no thicker than 12/13mm
bezel similar to a Halios Seaforth Sapphire Diver
not a LE
choice of dial and bezel colours
sunburst dial
all brushed bracelet
various strap options
flag logo only or centre justified name at 12
no date or date at 6
not a special movement that makes it too expensive

A C11 Makaira titanium with elium release valve in 43/44 mm. case and more lumen on hands and markers. Bright colours: orange, green, yellow, blue, exactly as old Makairas, Elite and Extreme. Grey titanium colours and black titanium DLC colours. Wave pattern dial such as Trident 600 II series. A limited 500 pieces edition will be a right number. Naturally Sellita movement, COSC
C8 Pilot MK II; C5 Malvern MK II; C60 Trident Pro 600 black; C11 Titanium Extreme 1000; C65 Trident Classic LE; C60 Trident Titanium Pro 600 #2; C60 Trident Pro 600 white; C11 MSL Black Manta; C11 Titanium Elite 500; C8 Mark I; C11 Makaira pro 500 orange

Normal classic and more classy 40-41mm Trident c60, with normal logo at 12!
Forget the thin bar marker and use dot as the good old one but superior quality.
C60 model with no date!
Use a pearl of white color rather than fluorescent green at 12.
Use a background with wave pattern better quality, but darker black and matte.
And please, follow Bremont's example a bit more. They did not have any logo issues..!
That's all.

Another vote for a slimmed down Trident. But I think that might be on the way already... And can we have it with a 12 o'clock logo?

Trident autos with 200/300m WR allowing them to be slimmer, lighter etc. Even with the 43mm case, that’d be an improvement, but a 40/41mm case would be even better.

Again with the Trident, look at matte finish ceramic bezels instead of / as well as the current high gloss versions - as in the Vintage model. Less dressy, more tool watch alternative.

What do you want CW to release next

I’d personally love to see a C65 MkII Vintage, exactly as it currently is (38mm, automatic movement, no bezel, vintage lume etc) with a blue face. I reckon vintage lume against blue would look outstanding...!

Any white face to have hands that contrast enough to be more legible. Defo the twin flag thingy at 12 (not sure if recessed or applied looks better)
