Repair Woes

Post by Kbruins59 »

So I had to send my CW Trident Cosc Day/Date back for repair due to the day/date function sticking. I received it as gift in September, and sent it out late December. It had it's customs waiting period, though it's my first time dealing with that so I assume the delay is normal. It has been over two months(I know it's the busy time of year for them) and I can't wait to have my watch back. Hopefully it will be done soon. Anyone now the average wait time on repairs? The email said approximately five weeks. Just missing my watch.

I've heard 6 weeks is about normal (others can maybe correct me on this). When you factor in customs which could have been a couple of weeks (outwith CW control) and the Christmas/New Year period then it's maybe not that surprising that you haven't had it back yet. Have you emailed CW's customer services to check on progress?

I have one in for servicing, it was received by CW just before Christmas, the work is being done now-ish (discounting weekend work!).

No, I haven't contacted them, because I understand that it can take a while. I was just curious about what other members have seen when it comes to this. So seems that the ~5 weeks is normal. Thanks for the information.

My C60 SH21 COSC had to be adjusted. From sending it from the US to receiving it back was 8 weeks or so.
