Re: C5 Malvern 595
So, basically a thinner Slimline with printed indices?
The grey is definitely attention-grabbing. I like the black hands; too. I'd wear it.

Re: C5 Malvern 595
Lovely case.
Boring face.
Maybe there wasn’t the room for applied markers but it looks a bit flat and a bit uninspiring to me.

Nice case, shame about the underwhelming dial.

Where are the minute markers?
I like to actually tell the time on a watch.

Re: C5 Malvern 595
Without a date window and no other writing on the dial, Christopher's name draws all the attention and looks even worse than on other watches.

Re: C5 Malvern 595 "Air"
Just checked, its not April 1st.
All that effort to get it so thin and absolutely no effort at all on the dial design.
£100 per mm to. The old version was a poor seller (stuck around for ages during sales). I don't see this improving matters as it's far more expensive and looks so bland.

As a nomos fan I actually see the appeal of this. If the movement is finished as shown with geneve stripes in the pictures I might think about getting this.
Need to see more natural shots of that dial though!

For such cool movement and all the effort it looks like such a fashion watch

Re: C5 Malvern 595 "Air"
Hmmm. Well, when the new small second was released I thought it was flabby and lifeless, but it grew on me. The minimalism grew on me and I even thought about getting one. But the old ss is better. Now, this is similar to the new small second. I think the case is superb. The hands are great. Black - I like it. The minimalist dial (now) appeals. BUT I am honestly disappointed by the absence of the second hand. I was expecting a small second. I am honestly flabbergasted by the absence of the small second hand. How else is anyone supposed to know it is mechanical? I mean - that is the whole point - to show off - a technical achievement - an ultra-thin mechanical watch for all to see. But you don't know it is mechanical. Hugo Boss do a 6mm, 39mm did quartz with no second hand for about £100. This could easily be a quartz watch. I was absolutely raring to go with this one. I'm really disappointed by the absence of the second hand. But I might still buy it. It's still lovely!

Re: C5 Malvern 595 "Air"
My first impressions were that it was very Nomos, kind if like the new Small Seconds.
I think it would be a nice watch if it had applied indices.
