C600 Tri-Tech Elite on Bracelet

Post by gaf1958 »

My (relatively) recently acquired C600 Tri-Tech Elite in green has presented me with a few challenges regarding strap choice and I've posted a few that I've tried (and in one case modified quite a bit) in the straps section of the forum.

I don't know about you lot, but I differentiate between straps and bracelets, particularly fitted bracelets, so I've posted this in the main CW section as they're more photos of the watch on the (a?) factory bracelet than a strap selection for it.

The original C600 bracelet was, I believe, the original style butterfly clasp model. Not available... Not for ages.... Solution? A C60 PVD bracelet. This one has the new double flag logo, but most importantly me it has the wonderful adjustable clasp. Suits me to a tee.... Think it suits the watch nicely as well. So here are the photos...

Thank Ferg, it's a perfect match too and the adjustable clasp is the icing on the cake - perfect for Australian summers.

I thought that the current C60 fitted bracelet would not fit the Mk1 C60, because of shoulder differences; and I thought the Mk1 C60 was the same fitting as the C600.

Therefore - I'm surprised it fits!

Looks good though, and I really do not get on with the butterfly clasps, much prefer the fold overs (but not in hairstyle).
There's always time for one more.

It's the other way 'round Paul. The C6/Mk1 bracelets don't fit the newer cases. And yes, the C600 is the same as the Mk1 C60 fitting.

Combovers are not my preference either :) but yes, the foldover clasps are also my pick of the two. It's a great choice for this...

That suits the watch really well Gary, great thinking.

I had a PVD bracelet (non CW) for my yellow Tri tech and it went quite well but it didn't have the fitted ends so hats off to you for working that out

 That looks fantastic Gary.

Completely and utterly perfect for the watch.

Seems like we have both learnt that CWL dive watches with green in the dial, look best on bracelet.

That does look good. I had mine on an old C6 bracelet. Currently it’s on the soft touch leather from recent C60s.
Trying not to buy any more watches...

I remember now, it was Jeff/Konketsu that fitted one of these bracelet straps to his Tri-Tech.

My bracelet is from a pvd titanium C60, but yes fits the C600 perfectly. It's a heavy watch so the lighter bracelet seems to make it more comfortable than the aftermarket stainless one I had before.

I hadn't considered the titanium one Jeff, although as I usually wear my C60s on leather due to their weight it would be a good, possibly a perfect choice.

However when I bought a C60 on bracelet recently, I got used to the weight fairly quickly; likewise when I wore the C600 I didn't notice the added weight of the steel one after the first hour or so.

Hmmm, out if curiosity I just looked at the prices of the titanium bracelet. It's roughly double that of the SS one.

I managed to get it on eBay for £165 last year, thanks to Ferg who posted it here.
Mainly got it for the adjustable clasp, which is a great feature of the new bracelets.

I would not have paid full price for one...
