C60 Trident Pro 600 - Orange
Hi,
I am drawn to this watch, anyone own the black leather strap version who has photos/review?
https://www.christopherward.co.uk/c60-t ... 600-996631
I was thinking of treating myself to my first Steinhart Pilot for Christmas (completely different type of watch I know), but I can't get away from that lovely looking Orange face of the CW, and I don't own anything in that colour or any other Trident model.
Especially with that voucher tucked away in my drawer.
Thanks

The photos on the website aren't bad, and with the £100 discount takes it to £580 - what is the general opinion on here?
I prefer the black leather strap to the stainless steel myself as I think it brings out the orange a bit better.
Showed my wife the photos and she likes it too - so might be able to get away with getting this for Christmas

LOL
I've wanted an Orange CW for a long while.
Miss my old Kingfisher Burnt Orange so was waiting for something nice in Orange to be done.
I really like it.
Sadly I'll have to wait a good while to get one though but will be worth the wait.

I don't have an Orange faced watch at all, I was actually thinking of a Steinhart Pilot next as I think they make great watches at reasonable prices and I don't have any by that brand but I already have a Hamilton Pilot plus some other big watches so the Trident would make a nice change for me.
The £100 voucher is swinging the deal really.

Greetings,
Attached is the link to the previous discussion on the orange, following my purchase.

If you are worried about the quality of the strap, don't be it's fine and not like the webbing strap recently
released on the blue 316.
It's a cracking watch in my opinion, bettered only by the addition of a voucher!
What are you waiting for?

Thanks for that.
Is the interior Orange part of the strap leather? I can't seem to find some up close photos and the website one is hard to tell.

Yes it is.
Sorry not able to do photos at the moment, it is a very comfortable strap.
what's stopping you, there is no "waiting for a voucher excuse"!

Watch on my shopping list but have also thought about a Steinhart and maybe even a WTB on a Rosso Corsa.
But as its stands the Orange Trident is probably the one I will get.
Quite odd as having to sometimes sneak a watch past the wife with her blessing I am taking an age deciding!

Re: C60 Trident Pro 600 - Orange
I was really tempted by the orange 316 but this new one with the back bezel really tickles me. It's definitely on my list. I would go with the back leather strap.

It's the ideal time to sneak a watch past your wife," Christmas is coming" excuses are readily available!
Will you get a voucher for a Steinhart?
Your only decision is one of bezel colour.

Can't see the orange/black leather strap version any more but there is now a stainless steel version.

The Orange stitching on the strap compliments the dial, go for it.johnnysharp2 wrote:The photos on the website aren't bad, and with the £100 discount takes it to £580 - what is the general opinion on here?

Re: C60 Trident Pro 600 - Orange
I'd always buy on steel and then swap to any aftermarket options for leather/nato etc.. There are plenty of options for black straps with orange stitching in different materials about. The Hirsch Robby would look great I think
