mischaman, are you going to post an insipid moan in every thread? It's just so...well, dull.gaf1958 wrote:Give it a break...mischaman wrote:Did they ever send you a watch with a curved hour hand?
I long for the old days of some of the banned posters here, at least their trolling was interesting.

"Lenhgt" means "special ordered with curved hour hand".

Would love to hear the response you get. I emailed on Wednesday, Regarding the clearly second hand bracelet and presentation box.DISJT wrote:I shall call them at end of week if I dont get a response
by then.
The second 2 members were only emailed Monday night after the first member failed to respond to my last 2 emails.
I won't name names yet but none of them are Laura.
No response yet. Though they did email me today to say they had to cancel my strap orders, as no stock and discontinued ><
Takes nothing away from the great watch and this forum goes a long way to make up for lack of customer service response

Re: New QC measures?
My curved spring bars have just been despatched. So my queries have been answered very promptly.
I also confirmed that the package wouldn’t contain curved hour hands. They said those were reserved for special customers.

Apologise for the re print as I addressed this in another thread but seeing as I was asked here it seems relevant ...Savagemouse wrote:Would love to hear the response you get. Quick update
Received an email this morning stating one of the straps I had ordered was out of stock and asking if i'd like an alternative, which I accepted.
When replying, i mentioned that I had emailed 4 people at CW about issues with watches without receiving a single response.
Received an apologetic email shortly afterwards. Turns out, all my emails had been designated as JUNK mail apparently? (I can only assume this is because I'd attached multiple photos) So they hadn't seen them until i mentioned it and they went looking.
Regards the scratched up bracelet, apologised that it had been missed during 3 stages (picking , QC, packing)
Gave me the option of returning for a refund or sending me a new bracelet - have requested a new bracelet so very happy with the outcome.
Regards the faulty buckle on the C3, had the option of returning watch to have new fitted or having new buckle or bader (choice was mine) sent out if I was happy to fit myself. Again very happy with the outcome.
So it seems like a genuine issue with email rather than them ignoring disgruntled customers.
I might just stick with this brand after all.

Re: New QC measures?
Well my second batch of three straps arrived today.
After notifying me that 1 of the 3 was unavailable, and asking me to choose an alternative, I selected the exact same strap as an alternative as the other 2. (i.e 3 identical straps)
Well I guess my ALTERNATIVE must of been out of stock as well, as I've got the 2 straps I ordered and some strange leather Nato strap that I've never even seen before let alone ordered.
My 3 "IDENTICAL"
No "tick sheet" present.
I couldn't make this stuff up.
One step forward, 2 back.

Re: New QC measures?
@DISJT - Interesting.
My 'out of stock' strap was a C10 20mm Vintage tan leather strap with sports clasp.
I accepted a 22mm brown oak leather (or similar) strap in lieu.
I received, a rather smart 20mm Vintage Tan leather NATO with sports clasp - same as you! The same strap as I'd originally ordered except in NATO format.

Re: New QC measures?
Yup , my out of stock was also the 20mm C10.
I selected 22mm C8 as alternative.
I'm not going to complain too much, got 6 straps in the sale and 1 is incorrect. Still a bloody good deal for £90.

watching you fail in your quest for a “one watch” has been great entertainment
