Santa is six months early
... or ... what happens when you back after 2 months holiday.
The postie has been kind to me, I had a few arrivals waiting for me. Two are orange. First up is a tangerine C6 (thanks Patrick!), which is now keeping company with an Orange Crish C60. They both go nicely with the other orange one I already have.
Some group shots...
In addition to the bright orange, there's another less gaudy arrival (thanks Phil!). It's a C2 FLE #007. Some quick shots with the bracelet unadjusted, but I've added another link since and it's ready to roll.
I also received another watch, a Certina, but I'll show it in the appropriate subforum...

Thanks Pete. BTW, one of the C6s will go back on a bracelet I suspect.

Thanks for pointing out the difference Pete, which wasn't immediately obvious on a small (phone) screen. I was wondering why Gary had bought a second watch the same.tikkathree wrote:Nice set.

Lovely trio all round, and the C2 FLE is top notch too.

Re: Santa is six months early
They look superb Gary, the C6 complements the Orange Crush very nicely. C2 FLE also one of the best CW's.
Hope the C6 was still keeping good time after 2 months in a box and travelling halfway across the world!

Amazing set of orange watches.
Quick question though - what is the one on the left - is it the burnt orange?

Santa is six months early
From what I've been able to gather, conventional wisdom has it that the black text orange C6s are burnt orange, the white text ones are tangerine. IMO though there's not too much colour difference between the two; a bit, but not dramatically so.PaulWB wrote:Amazing set of orange watches.

So the answer is, I don't know.

Re: Santa is six months early
That was what most people believed - the black text was the Burnt Orange and the white text the Tangerine BUT another forum member bought a second orange watch and found it was also tangerine but with black text.
Here are some pictures of my C6's.
Burnt Orange
Burnt Orange is on the left of second row with Tangerine next to it.
Best way to describe it is the Tangerine is a flat colour whereas the Burnt Orange has reflective galvanic dial.

Re: Santa is six months early
A fine trio indeed Gary
Very very cool watches my friend
Following on from PaulWB's post, you appear to have two Tangerine versions, a white script and a black script.
I have seen this before but forgot that were two versions of the Tangerine and the only difference was the colour of script.
The Burnt Orange (shown in the first photo in PaulWB's post above) was a totally different Orange, VERY Metallic with a Galvanic dial where as the Tangerine is a matt dial similar to the Trident 316L LE that you now have as well.
