C9 5Day Winding Issue

Post by snookssec »

Good evening all.

I have been putting off sending my C95D in for service, however, I think it is that time. Before I did, I wanted to query the forum and see if anyone else has experienced issues with winding their C95D. Specifically, when I turn the crown, I can see the first gear rotating, however, it doesn't appear to be catching as it will not start a stopped watch (even after 20+ turns). I have experienced this condition at least three times since I purchased the watch after it first came out. The only way I can seem to get it going again is by leaving it in a winder for a while. Since then, I have left it in the winder when I am not wearing it. I will likely contact Wera this week but I don't want to part with it for ~6+ weeks. :(

If its less than five years old, which for an SH21 I presume it is, why procrastinate?

Get it back to CWL for it to be fixed under warranty.

Good morning.
I Had the exact same issue, it's a warranty repair as Guy said.
Mine came back from repair with a different issue (see video link) so it had to go back again.
It's perfect now though.
