On the bright side, at least no one has suggested Volkswagon....yet.

I think this is a pretty good comparison actually...

Caterhams are quick. My CWs all run slightly slow.

Alfa for me. Plenty of flair but a slight question over reliability

Likin these replies, never thought about Kia before, although they don't have that quality feel in the cabin that you get in Merc/BMW and even Skoda........
Caterham are ace but could you use every day?
Sorry about the Jag, but running the new XE currently and it's just not there in terms of the quality you expect for the money.....
Like Audi but then you are paying Omega money...........
The thing about CW is when you meet another wearer there seems to be an acknowledgement that you have discovered something special..... Which car does that?

10-15 years ago I would have said Lexus without even thinking about it, but that's a tougher question these days... :-k

I'd liken CW to Ginetta... little known, admired amongst enthusiasts, runs on a standard manufacturer power unit, you get what you pay for yet performance is up there with more expensive alternatives. There are also a few GTG or other events that are akin to single-spec series race meetings...
