Amazing accuracy

Post by MadJam250 »

My newly acquired C5 Slimline (after 3 days) is running at just -1sec, in total. Is this beatable from within the CWL ownership fanbase?

I just spent a week keeping track of my Makaira's accuracy: over precisely a 7 day stretch with moderate wear (3-4 hrs a day), and leaving it crown up (not on a winder) it is -3 seconds. Pretty impressed I have to say!

Haha. I'm pretty astounded I have to say. Be interesting to hear how others' Slimlines are doing.

Not as accurate as yours but my Trident Pro 600 gains less than 5 seconds a day. Hmm, maybe they accidentally put a COSC movement in mine. HA!

My C60 COSC (SH21) was at +7 total after almost 6 months.

Well, since resting the watch in a different position, fully wound, overnight, it's now running at +/- 0 secs per 4 days. :D

I think I need to send it back ;-)

My slimline was also incredibly accurate, possibly the most accurate in the box. If regularly wound it was within a couple of seconds a day at most.

After 10 days of wear it's now losing just 2 seconds, in total!

I suppose folks around here know this but the time your automatic will gain or loose each day is influenced by lots of things including temperature and how you rest it when you take it off. The Rolex guys published this for their watches. I've found this works for most automatics. Image
