I got the missus to measure me so I wouldn't convince myself I was bigger than I really am. Anyway I came in at 7 inches.
I love the original CW logo and wanted a chronograph so pushed the button on the mark one rapide in the nearly new. I'll keep you posted when it arrives as to perception of size, height, weight etc.

I think Roy Hodgson strapped the watch box to his wrist by mistake tonight.

Hublot? FIFA "gift" from a previous World Cup.

Just seen it briefly now don't think it suits him. A nice slimline dress watch would look better

It's a shame you passed on the C4. I'm wearing mine (on bracelet) now and it sits very comfortably on the wrist :)
I am not a collector of watches. I used to be able to say that and know I was telling the truth.

I have a c.7'' wrist and I regularly wear anything from a lugless 33mm vintage Moser from the '30s to a C11 that wears bigger than its stated 42mm.

I think both work with a wrist my size. The Moser is great when I'm dressed more formally; the C11 is perfect with jeans. It's not only size that matters IMO but also context. Informal dress and a clunkier watch can be a great combination IMO!

Feedback on the smaller strap will be appreciated for certain.
Just noticed the pictures are upside down
I have the plastic and tag still on the watch because i'm not supposed to be wearing btw

The small strap is indeed small. I'm on hole 3/6 with 6.5" wrists. The buckle doesn't seem to quite sit in the middle of my wrist but off to one side, but i guess that's a minor thing to get a snug fit.

The leather strap is okay. It's thinner than expected (my C4 pilot has thicker padded leather) and doesn't feature the butterfly clasp which I prefer.

The watch is more polished than I expected. Not just the steel numerals but the casing-- a very shiny mirror finish that catches the light but you can't see this in the photos. It could easily pass for a watch in a formal office setting and it makes it look less sporty. I think I'll be getting a perforated strap at some point.

My wrist is about 6.75 and I prefer the look/feel of max. 40mm watches...though I also have a 44 that wears rather small and looks great. It really seems to depend on the watch design.

Same here... the C5 looks better on me with my thin wrists but the C3 is still great. Couldn't have anything larger though. I am sure I've had this conversation before
