Cw travel pouch
Cw travel pouch
All the top end watch makes, sell a travel pouch/ service pouch eg rolex and omega etc.
when going away on your holidays or away for a few days, or keeping your watch safe, scratch free.
Keeping your watch in the cw box isn't always possible, too large and bulky.
Wouldn't it be great if cw sold a travel pouch to keep your watches in?
Please let me know if this is viable?
Then you could take a few cw's on holiday!
Regards
Matt

Re: Cw travel pouch
Apparently there is, or was, something like a CW service case. I have never seen one, but there are pictures of them floating around. An alternative that I have found to be very good is the Oakley watch vault.

Re: Cw travel pouch
I have several travel pouches and don't use any of them so if CW did start doing them I wouldn't use it.
Re: Cw travel pouch
I'd love either the case or the Pod, very useful when travelling. Id defiantly buy one if they were to reproduce them!
Re: Cw travel pouch
The service pod looks ideal for travelling with an extra watch. I got this one free with my Bremont, which allows me to take two extra watches if I want to. I've used it quite a few times now when travelling and it does the job.
Re: Cw travel pouch
To be honest, I never take a spare watch with me when I travel. I always try to choose the watch that will be most suitable for me on the trip and just take that one. I somehow feel a bit insecure carrying spare watches with me, especially if it means leaving them in hotel safes or having some inquisitve official noseying through my stuff and wanting to know my business. Perhaps I need to chill a bit...

My watches on a recent holiday - we're a bit different!theaub wrote:To be honest, I never take a spare watch with me when I travel.
Mind you, if I go walking or camping I only ever take the one, but for a seaside holiday I like the C3 to travel in and keep order (i.e. time) for the rest, I must have the swimmers, the Nomos went for the evenings and I stuck in an alarm watch at the last minute. Could I have gone with just one swimmer? Of course I could!
Oh, and they were all in my hand luggage on the plane, except the C3 which I wore, and neither UK nor Portuguese security batted an eyelid.

Re: Cw travel pouch
They did do a little service case
For travelling I use the Breitling service case which is very solid and well made and can be picked up on eBay for a reasonable price. And comes with a cleaning cloth.
Omega do a flatter one like a glasses case
If you want more in one box then these seem reasonably priced.

and 8 watch

ALthough I have found fitted leather straps (like C40 above) do not work well with that type of case as they do not lie flat.

Re: Cw travel pouch
I'd love to pick up a generic version of the single leather case that Lew & Huey uses to ship their watches in. I have one of those double cases, but it's a bit bulky. The one Chris uses is very durable, high quality, and easy to toss in a travel bag. Anyone know of anything like that out there?
Re: Cw travel pouch
A recent return to CW saw me struggling with somewhere robust to send the watch in. In the end an old sunglasses hard sunglasses case and bubble wrap sufficed. I will be interested to see how CW repack it for return.
A returns bag is not viable as I like overseas

Re: Cw travel pouch
I have one of the CW single watch travel cases, find it very useful, unfortunately they were not that popular so were discontinued.
No more Quartz (except when I cannot resist).

I wish I bought one of those alphajet when a couple popped up for sale a few years ago.
