Suggestions for next watch sub £500
Seems as you all have such exquisite taste I thought I would seek some recommendations. Having just purchased the C5 Malvern Slimline I am now looking for my next purchase. What watches do you guys have that you would recommend. Approx £500 budget and need to be currently available. Thanks in advance.

A nice vintage Omega or Longines.

Are you looking for a CW watch? And would you be after quartz or auto?

I am open to brand and type to be honest although I prefer mechanical to quartz. Only now realising how many brands of watches are out there. Hoping I may get pointed in the direction of some watches that you don't tend to just stumble upon via Google.

Seeing as this post is in the CW general discussion forum, I can heartily recommend a C60. They are a great all rounder.
If you are looking at different brands, have a look at Magrette. Probably the best bit of quality new automatic kit you can get for under 500 notes.
Or Steinhart perhaps? I do not own one, but they have a wide selection and many owners sing their praises.

Magrette moko is stunning. Why do I automatically gravitate to watches way outside my budget.

I'm going to echo gbbird's comments and say you can't go wrong with our very own C60 (with a choice of colours to suit)gbbird wrote:Seeing as this post is in the CW general discussion forum, I can heartily recommend a C60. They are a great all rounder.

Sorry but the c60 just doesn't do anything for me. As for style, well I have a couple of dress watches now so something a bit different. Something eye catching and over the top maybe. I have a smallish wrist though so nothing too big.

I know it's a very open question. I guess I am looking for something a bit different so don't want to be specific as if I do that I will just end up getting a variation of what I have already.
