Is it bad that I want a blue C60 too?

Post by BigNick73 »

I've had a black c60 for about a year now. Hands down my favorite watch. Have 3-4 straps for it and wear it almost exclusively. I've been wanting one in blue since I first saw them and think I might have to pull the trigger in the near future. Just seems odd having the same watch in two colors.

Here's a pic of my black one. Think I'd have to order a brown bund for a blue one.

Doesn't sound bad at all.

You will not be the first CW owner to have the same watch in multiple colours - my colour combo's as follows:

C60 Red Jag, C6 Yellow, C6 Auto Yellow, C6 Black, C6 White and W6 Orange
C7 BRG & IRR
C8 Vintage Pilot, C8 Cream Mk1, C8 Cream MkII and C80 Sector
C2 FLE, C2 IPK (black), C2 White (black & tan straps)
C1, C2, C3, C5, C6, C8, C9, C11, W6, C7/C70, 2009 FLE, 2012 FLE Red, 2013 FLE, 2015 FLE, C9 JH2, C900 WT

No, it's quite normal as Paul says. I've;

6 C6s
2 C8s
2 C40s

And looking for a second C60. :) I assume you've more than one colour of shirt.

Funny you ask that question. I had my blue C60 on yesterday and thought to myself that a black C60 would have gone better with my outfit. I say buy it, so you don't find yourself in my dilemma.

Then you'll buy one in another colour, then with GMT, then you'll think to yourself "Hmm... how am I going to store all of these watches?", and before long, you'll be looking at watch winders.

Guess it's just a matter of personal taste. I bought my C60 some weeks ago -orange bezel on steel bracelet-, and to be honest it is not my favorit watch. Quit small, no seetrough, and price/quality is average. Just my cup of tea.
On the other hand I just bought a Steinhart Ocean 2 blue and Ocean 1 vintage GMT, and these are much more my favorits right now.

Very personal, as I resume.
Why I buy watches? It makes me think I am buying time :)

I think it's a phase many of us go through - trying to work out if we are collectors, watch wearers or magpies...
