I saw pics of the originial C60 on a blog called dappered.com. When the Mk II came out I was watching reviews on youtube and jumped when I saw a sale on them. I now have several!

Good coverage again in GQ. This is from the April 2016 issue.

Seeing them a lot more in GQ and Esquire which I often read.

That Vintage is definitely the standout there!

Good find. It is good to see the brand represented in something other than the motoring/aviation stuff. The lifestyle magazines are a natural choice.

The half minute which we daily devote to the winding-up of our watches is an exertion of labour almost insensible; yet, by the aid of a few wheels, its effect is spread over the whole twenty-four hours.

Well yeah, it ain't a stellar lineup, but the 600 quid level is packed with the fashion boys.

I would take the Timex after the CW!!!!

I am sure that you could trade the Cartier in against the Shinola.

I'm trying to think of brands on the high street which compete at the same price point or lower as CW (using the Trident above as an example), tbh no competition for what you get between CW and the rest for that price point.

I stumbled upon Christopher Ward watches while looking for a small sized dressy dive watch. Couldn't help but falling for the C60 38mm. Still trying to get warm with the other models of the collection, but so far they haven't had the same impact on me.

To be honest, there's no competition between CW and the rest at two or three times the price...
C8 Flyer 38mm (steel/tan leather strap)
C5 Malvern (gold/black leather strap)
C60 Trident 38mm (green bezel/NATO strap)
Steinhart Nav B-Uhr 44mm Type B (steel/black leather riveted strap)
Rotary pocket watch (gold plated, handwound)
G-Shock GW5610

The expansion of the use of the cw in house movement has to be driving more people to the brand

I can verify that for me, the SH21 came on the radar when hunting for a longer power reserve on affordable automatics. It was not an immediate discovery though, I think they could improve on their marketing on that one.

I was researching affordable Swiss automatics and CW popped up. I have a couple omegas and the dial wave pattern on my C60 Pro is reminiscent of my SMP so I was sold! I heard great things after doing research, but nothing really compares to the quality you experience when you simply take the watch out of the box for the first time. The features and quality are nearly unheard of at this price point.

I saw reviews in various magazines, an advert in the BA in-flight mag which led me to the website.

I then saw a CW C6 Kingfisher on a friends wrist. I asked him about it and liked the story he told me about chatting to someone on a train about on his way to buy a watch a number of years ago, it turned out that he was talking to Christopher Ward. They exchanged contact details and he ended up buying three watches from him.

Hi guys, well its a long story but abridged version involves an ebay search for something for my son who's called Harrison, an advert for the original c9 Harrison blue chrono pops up, subsequent google search to check price and background, CW website and... i then went away for months but couldnt get that watch out of my head so decided to return when i started to look at expanding my small collection.. cant find the Harrison (no longer produced as LE of 250) and none currently for sale... as far as im aware so if you know of one :D or its likely to be a C7 Bluebird very soon.
CW's: C30, C60 Orange bezel, C9 Harrison Chrono (big blue) LE, Harrison C9 date, C70 MC, C7 Chrono.
Gone: c7, c3.
Various other brands 😊

I'd seen various models in car magazines such as Evo or Octane, but hadn't taken much notice, as many motorsport watches aren't to my (mostly simple) tastes.

I'd started looking at Diver's watches thinking I should treat myself at some point, and, curiously, it was after discovering Isofrane straps that I saw a picture of a Trident Pro on an Isofrane, and I loved the wave detailing on the face and the trident second hand.

So then I found the company website, and was pleasantly surprised at the prices. Further Goolging led to here...

Ownership in the new year I hope... :D
