C3 or C4 - undecided...

Post by Donk »

Hi all, this is my first post and I just had a question I wondered if anyone can answer for me please.

I want to buy a CW to replace my Tissot PRS200, but am a bit undecided over the sizes of the C3 and the C4 that I fancy. For variuos reasons, I quite like a larger watch in the style I am looking for and have a wrist circumference of 8 inches. My Tissot is supposed to have a 40mm case and indeed measures this at the widest part of the outer rotating bezel, but looks relatively small on my wrist. I know the C3 is 40mm and the C4 is 42mm, but having examined the pics on the official website and some of the user pictures on here, the C3 looks larger then I would have imagined.

My question is, does anyone know how a watch is supposed to be measured when these sizes are quoted so i can get an idea of how big it will look on my wrist?

Many Thanks

Dave

Hi Donk i have just purchased the c3 and the 40mm is the diameter of the outside of the case only not including the crown ,the actual glass size is 34mm
hope this helps :)
