Christopher Ward questions from another CW Fan.

Post by CivilDefense »

Hello all..

Just doing some vain googling of my name, Christopher R Ward, (no I am not attempting a dave gordon) And I see my namesake is a london watchmaker.

Just curious, besides them being beautiful and spectacularly complicated and detailed, what makes a CW watch special.

Also, I dont actually even own a watch.

I would answer that as, it's the price to value ratio.

I think DavidM1's review here says it all:

BTW, while looking for that link above, I stumbled on this at TimeZone:

And it proves one thing to me, Chris needs to hire a better photographer. I have already mentioned that to him. I have never had the slightest interest in that chrono, mostly because of being a quartz movement, but now, I don't know... after looking at those photos, the watch is about 10 times more handsome than I could tell from Chris' site.

I have to agree with you Joe, especially the pics on watch-stand on the CW-site are not flattering for the watches, take the black Malvern for instance, I just know it must look way better in real life!
