Can anyone provide an indication of how long the general BC offer will be available?
Is it going to be permanent, albeit with price increases over time, or will it be a limited general offer.
I would be grateful to know how long I have to consider this.

Re: Bel Canto General Release
It's on general sale now, as per any other model. It's as "permanent" as any other non-limited CW model too. Like those models, nothing is around forever, but I don't expect it to disappear anytime soon - maybe unless they get overwhelmed with orders again that they haven't got capacity to deliver. But delivery dates are being explicitly stated to manage expectations, e.g. at this moment the CW site states pre-order for end November 2023 delivery. If that changes, due to high order volumes, to end-November 2024 delivery, say, then that may well dampen demand!

Fully agree - and consequently I pulled the trigger on the black this afternoon

Re: Bel Canto General Release
This is a bit of a tricky one. This general release of the Bel Canto is not in the true "Open Series" mode. Although not limited editions in the true sense, nor are they a true open series. Those that have looked will see that they are taking deposits.welshlad wrote: ↑Thu Jan 19, 2023 7:38 pm It's on general sale now, as per any other model. As I understand it, this will continue for as long as the demand is there. What that time scale is we don't know. Nor do we know at what point CW may decide that enough is enough and shut things down for these specific models. With projected delivery dates already 10 months out, I have to believe that things will slow down after a given period of time.
It is known that CW had a considerable reservation list via the first email blast. They also have a significant wait list (actual numbers are confidential). At some point a balance will be reached where the majority of customers can be satisfied and some will be left wanting. The overall value of these watches is also a consideration as to when they shut it off. Could be next week...could be 3 months from now. I don't think we will know until it happens. Hopefully CW would put out a "Last Chance" notice when the end is near.
