C65 Dune Preview
Re: C65 Dune Preview
So can we deduce from this that the dune is based on the Aquitaine range?

We have holidayed further down near Biarritz, and also north of the Gironde several times, (Royan) but never holidayed near Arcachon and the Dune du Pilat. I bet it would wear you out climbing that.

Re: C65 Dune Preview
I think C65 is the case type as the military range are also C65s as are the super compressors.
By using the Aquitaine reference I assume these will more closely resemble that design language.

Re: C65 Dune Preview
Hang on, I’ve just realised I’m starting to provoke discussions about this so we’d better stop before we get in trouble.
I didn’t attend the preview so aren’t sharing any inside info with my thoughts. Nothing to see here, move along.......

For the record, I wasn’t at the preview either. I’m just applying some good ol’ sound reasoning and logic.

Pilat is one of my most treasured childhood holiday destinations. Colour me intrigued for this CW release.

Re: C65 Dune Preview
I wonder if I was a desert nomad in a previous life?? The prerelease blurb for the Sandstorm kind of captivated me, even though it was really about desert rally driving! And I think the Dune image with the coordinates is fantastic. I can’t wait til tomorrow so I’ll be hitting refresh in hope throughout the day today in case something drops early

It should be deleted it gives away far too much detail!
