^^^^ . . . . . except wasn't it being sold on WatchUSeek (not eBay) where you would presume the buyer will know his onions or have I missed something?

Ah, good point, Guy. I don’t know what made me think eBay.

Are we certain that it sold for the asking price? Is there the possibility that there was behind the scenes bartering going on? I don't know what the process on WUS is so I am asking the question. Either way, given the speed with which both colors sold out and the high price that this one sold at (allowing that it was above the retail ask), from a market standpoint, it would appear that the BC was under priced. It illustrates that the market saw it as a deal.

Anything in short supply can be sold on at a profit, with some exceptions. Nobody forces a buyer to pay the inflated prices, but anyone wanting a BC is hardly going to be successful buying a new one from CW for a while.

People paid silly money for a moonswatch didn't they.

I can’t see the problem in someone buying a watch and reselling to make a profit, the seller is not forcing anyone to buy. Hence, good luck to them.

It's about time busybodies stopped dictating to others what they should or shouldn't do.

Being offered at cost, I would expect nothing less in a reputable place like this
