C63 bracelet revised?

Post by Aladave »

Did CW revise the Sealander 39 bracelet? From what I’m seeing on WUS, it appears they may have revised the bracelet to more closely match the Trident 300’s.

I don’t recall them announcing it. Maybe they got that other poor guy’s Trident bracelet by accident

Yes; CW are doing a rolling change from twin screw pins for link adjustment to single ended screws, as used on the C60 Trident Pro 300 bracelet.

Number of links, taper, deployant clasp with micro-adjustment are the same.

I did email them after the Trident Pro 300 release, to ask if the 36mm Sealander would eventually get the single-screw bracelet. They said for orders placed before 1 Nov 2022, it would still be the 2-screw bracelet (I asked because the current CW voucher expires end Oct).

There would be an eventual change over to the single screw, according to their email reply, but it was likely to be at a much later stage.

Note that my query was in relation to the 36mm model. The timing might be different for the 39mm.

I’m periodically checking the description for the 36mm bracelet. When I see it switch over to single screw vs double screw I’ll contemplate whether the taper of the bracelet and quick release pins are enough reason to buy.

When I got my Sealander from Qubo I figured I was going to need to remove a whole link from the bracelet. I have quite shaky hands so the double screw link thing was becoming a bit frustrating...
Who knows how the best ideas arise but after leaving it for a while to cool down and rest my fingers I suddenly thought:
I wonder if it would be enough to adjust it at the easily adjustable clasp??

Success! :applaus:

(Was so impressed with myself )

With a little edit of your post, Andrew

These thoughts are in my mind about the taper on the C60 300 bracelet.
