Every time I look at the JLC range, that’s the watch that catches my eye the most, particularly the blue. Superb choice and congratulations.

Thanks everyone for your kind comments. I’m pleased the effort I put into writing that post also seems to have been appreciated going off what you are saying.

Congratulations!

I read a (very) short version of this chain of events elsewhere, and as I read this here, I had to resist the tempt to scroll down and bag the spoiler. Well written, and what a fabulous item to mark an important milestone.

Thanks.

Wyatt, the abridged version appeared on the watchchat Facebook group. FB doesn’t lend itself to long posts so I put a slimmed down version but mentioned the full story was on here for those that chose to come and read it.

Great story, and well written. You could have a second career should you become tired of the engineering stream.

Also, I think that 3 watch collection is cracking. But then I'm biased as mine is not hugely dissimilar - IWC Petit Prince (as you know), a grey Omega Speedmaster Racing and a blue Aqua Terra.

Thanks for taking the time to entertain us all.

Congratulations Iain, stunning watch. I also enjoyed the background and great that you have a few watches with a sentimental attachment that you can hang on to.
