Trident Pro 300 – will we see titanium models?

Post by Dilbert »

I love the new Trident Pro (40mm diameter and the case height are spot-on), but I prefer titanium. So, do you think CW will eventually offer Ti models?

I watched the CWE preview on Zoom last week and at the end Mike France was asked about alternative materials and movements. He said a bronze model was probably on the horizon as they have been very popular in in the past but there were no current plans for a titanium case or GMT movements for the Pro 300 as they see the Pro 600 as being the top tier Trident.

I presume a GMT would be tricky, as there might not be enough space in the case to accommodate a thicker movement. Bronze wouldn't cause that problem, though.

I think all “the fun stuff” will be happening in the 600 only.
