I am now looking at other brands more closely, particularly Omega, and I have the AT Worldtimer on my list for as soon as I've saved enough 8)

I am still and will continue to acquire CW watches, as I admire the brand and how it's progressed, plus I love the watches I have and have no doubt there will be models I am going to love going forward
C1 - Bel Canto, Grand Malvern 5 Day
C5 - FLE
C60 - Concept
C65 - Cranwell, Super Compressor
C9 - 5 Day Small Seconds
Omega - Aqua Terra, SMP Nekton
Breitling - SuperOcean
Rolex - Air King

rkovars wrote: Mon Jul 25, 2022 4:13 pm That is an impressive spread. I'm with Andrew, you can't leave us guessing!
I can now confirm that one of the collection is now on it's way to the new custodian and all will be revealed soon enough :D

In the meantime, check into the CWL of the Day thread over the coming days and it might give some clue as to what "hasn't" gone

I was tempted to chuck in my twopenn’orth, but was concerned that the discussion might derail this excellent thread.

What a brilliant collection Gary, I'd be happy to own pretty much every one of them. That Powerglow stands out due to its uniqueness.

Gorgeous AT that you recently acquired too.

I have half an idea what the outgoing watch and recipient may be....I'll keep it to myself (probably wrong anyway!).

What can I say Gary...Seriously outstanding mate, What a collection !!   8) 8) 8)
I've said this before but we really do share a very similar trend on the same watches bought and kept.
Currently at 4 of the same watches we own.

I am also a fan of Omega and of the Aqua Terra in particular, a fabulous addition my friend.

I have narrowed it down to one of two CWs you own that one is going......

Hi Ferg. We do indeed seem to share very similar tastes

I love my CWs, but I am really happy to have branched out too and (for me) this is the perfect Omega… it is simple, elegant, but also feels so right when wearing it.. I get the same feeling from my Concept, C65 SH21s and C65 Chrono in particular and my other CWs too for different reasons…. they just make me smile :D

Ha ha, well I’ve realised that whilst it’s common knowledge over on CWE, I never mentioned it on here… of course it is the PowerGlow that has gone… to a very good home, with Brian (aka TheMadHatter)

I actually thought it was another one going as well as the PowerGlow, no idea where I got that idea from !
Yes the PowerGlow went to a very good home there for sure.
It's always nice when that happens, like my C70 Ascari COSC went to a guy I know on CWE in Australia who longed for one for years so again a perfect new home for it.

Great collection. I'm particularly jealous of the C1 Powerglow Proto - I would have liked to have bought that too ;-)
