Mid afternoon on a Friday and they had Sky Sports coverage of Test Match Cricket on several TVs in easy view of the exercise machines.

Must have been one of those posh gyms with fluffy bathrobes and hot and cold running floozies!

I would have liked Serena to win. I feel she over celebrates on points. Better to stay focused on getting the job done. And then she can really celebrate if she wins

If nick kyrgios just played tennis, he'd win more, but it would be a lot less exciting. He's a bit hyper to say the least. :D

FFS now we've got bl**dy football and bl**dy tennis taking over the BBC.

I really do resent my licence fee going towards paying for all this sporting sh*t, just show it on Sky or Eurosport or some other obscure channel!!!

Given that sport is just about the only thing I switch the television on for, and I’m far too avaricious to pay for Sky, BT &c., I’m perfectly happy. If BBC showed live test cricket and Open golf like they, and later Channel 4, used to, I’d be VERY happy.

Back on the subject of Wimbledon, what a fantastic result yesterday for Cameron Norrie to get through to the Men's Semi-Finals but . . .
.

.
. . . he's got to play Novak Djokovic.

I can recall a number of top tennis players who were not exactly “Little Rays of Sunshine” in their Salad Days.

I have never heard the term 'salad days', where does that come from?

Although Novak hasn't been in exactly vintage form so far in this tournament...I think even if he has another slightly off day, he'll be too much for Norrie. Hope I'm wrong though.
I also hope that if both Nadal & Kyrgios come through today, which I suspect they will, that Nadal spanks Kyrgios & dumps him out of the tournament.
I don't buy into him being good for the sport...as he comes across as a horrid individual. His 'performance' against Tsitsipas was shameful.
I'm all for bringing interest to the game..but not in the way he does it.

The Bard. Anthony and Cleopatra. Cleo lamenting her youth…
My salad days,
When I was green in judgment: cold in blood,
To say as I said then!
Also the title of a musical.

Not half as much as I resent it being spent on tedious nonsense like Downton Abbey. Oh look, another costume drama!

On to tennis... well I don't really care about that either, but by God that Kyrgios is hard work.
