Re: CW Forum Private Prototype and Archive Sale
^^^It was still alive the last time I looked and that was right before it came down. So unless someone was quick then it probably will pop up again in a sale down the road.

Self is the man - DIY Smartrepair of my new C7 Rapide prototype. Unfortunately, this had a small scratch, but I found an almost matching color in the car dealership.
Depending on the incidence of light, it can no longer be seen - and not with the naked eye anyway. Operation succeeded and the owner is happy

Re: CW Forum Private Prototype and Archive Sale
That looks much better IRL than CW’s photos! Are you happy with it?

Re: CW Forum Private Prototype and Archive Sale
Yes, first impressions are very favorable. It’s a good size as well. It seems to be a really good all-rounder.

Re: CW Forum Private Prototype and Archive Sale
I think that's a stunner. Excellent catch.
I could order one of those. Serious watch, confident looks. Yes. Come on CW, be really good to us. I'd go so far as to say that if this forum or any of the three Facebook CW groups were contemplating an LE and it looked like this, I'd be in straight away.

Re: CW Forum Private Prototype and Archive Sale
That's just gorgeous
I had that in and out of my basket several times before walking away.
Plus I'd just picked up a C5 Mk II which seemed too similar.
my bad
Great pictures of a great watch and love the rotor

The “Creamlander” is just lovely! I do sometimes find myself looking at the prototypes and thinking “This is what you should have made!”

Re: CW Forum Private Prototype and Archive Sale
Congratulations to everyone who picked up some really nice pieces in the sale.
For me I think the Creamlander is the stand out model. Not necessarily because it is the best looking in the sale (although it's a very attractive piece), but because of how it harkens back to CW's early history and the C5. If the had released this as the C63 Malvern it would have been totally appropriate. It looks the part.
The cream dial also makes it the dressiest of the Sealanders.

Re: CW Forum Private Prototype and Archive Sale
I think we need some photos of this watch here as well as any other prototypes that were purchased.
