Pics from the walkers
Re: Pics from the walkers
One day a week I work from home. I get up at the normal time and start working at my usual start time. However I do a virtual commute instead of my actual one. It’s just a brisk 40min walk round local roads and paths, about 3 miles in total.
I often see these but usually only fleeting glances as they run off and any longer sightings still aren’t long enough to get my phone out to photograph. Anyway today I saw one up ahead in the open so managed to get these before I was spotted.

A few days away up in Scotland has allowed me to walk somewhere different. Been out today in the Cairngorms national park. Was Initially intending to climb a couple of Munro’s but a combination of the weather turning and my walking guide feeling unwell meant we turned back. It’s not the place or the time of year to be taking risks out here.

It might lack the dramatic landscapes of Scotland or the colour of the New England autumn, but it’s only 10 minutes walk from my front door.

Re: Pics from the walkers
Bit of a chilly one today. Storm Arwen has brought some snow and ice. You can’t see on these pictures but the power-lines across the moor have blown down. While the power is off, I didn’t fancy getting whipped by a flying cable so turned back.
It’s my works do later this afternoon round Leeds. I was already planning on wearing a long sleeved shirt, I’m now think I may need a t shirt underneath as well.

Back home after a week away in Cornwall. Last opportunity for a holiday this year before Christmas.
A few pics from on, or near the South West Coastal path. Neil
