I still keep coming back to this one. Even though it would require a clear out of a few to pay for it. Completely different to anything else that I have. Not likely to be able to try one on until next year. I can wait.

Mind you this one is also completely different and will be available far sooner, however discretion is required. :)

Not any particular watch, but I've been spending a lot of time daydreaming of a good design for skeletonizing a diver bezel.

Yes, Neil, the Tonda is quite sublime.

The question mark though is the most understated "what time is it?" I've seen in quite a while :)

I think I could find room in my collection for one of those, Neil!

^^^ I have previously tried on a couple of the previous PF models at an event and thought that they were really well finished. I do keep thinking “one high end watch, from a brand that is not one of the usual suspects and then call it quits “. I have lost interest in buying watches from the brand that produces well made professional tool watches… :)

This way of thinking has much to recommend it. At the moment I’m just thinking of calling it quits without a high end addition.

I'm not a million miles from that position, Neil - certainly no plans to buy any more from that specific professional tool watch manufacturer.

I'm retiring next year - I'll be 66 by then and enough is enough. My local AD has promised he would get me a Day/Date in whatever colour I wanted as that was the initial plan for a retirement gift to myself - I now intend to buy myself something a little bit different, but what I just don't know yet. It will be a dress watch though, of that I'm certain.

Is the Nove Trident of any inspiration to you?

Wow, thanks for the link. Very elegant design on the bezel.... Thanks to you, now I'll be dreaming about bezels at night too Image. The rest of the gage, well, kinda 'flat'lines in comparison (in my opinion).
