C900 #012 (With Pic's)

Post by AliBar »

Well, I wish I could say it's been a long wait but... after a SOTC conversation with myself over the weekend, and an "as normal" round of efficient e-mails with Wera, postie duly turned up this morning as expected.

What can I say - woohoo, WTF, OMG and wow should start the ball rolling. It is a lovely, and yes big, watch that carries a commanding presence. For me, a nice clear dial, easy to read, and with either a formal or casual look depending on what you're up to. Mechanically it is something to behold. Johannes' movement and monopusher are sheer technical wizadry... nice firm but precise button and watching the cogs and levers through the caseback is just intriguingly industrial/mechanical.

Hope you enjoy these as much as I'm enjoying the watch.

You're a lucky man, Alastair.

A superb looking watch albeit now accepted as beyond my budget.

Brilliant; really good to see photos 'in the flesh' as one might say; as opposed to studio shots done for Chr.Ward.

Interesting to see you opted for the brown strap, which is what I have on my C9 Chrono; better IMHO than the black, slightly less formal.

Enjoy.

really wasn't sure about this at first plus too big and too expensive but pictures like this are winning me over rapidly!
Classy looking watch and brilliant from the back! Congratulation  s and enjoy

Is all the engraving on the back of the watch upside down to the face for a reason?

Stunning watch, exquisite dial, but at 43mm x 15.9mm its way too big for me.

Congratulations.

A classic for sure. The case thickness seems to be just right to balance the crown size. Great pics, thanks for sharing!

Lovely clean piece. No problem with the "lack of decoration" the quality & finish of the movement is more than sufficient. Only issue I have from all the recent images is, the narrowness of the strap which seems not to balance out the substantial case design.
