Re: January Sale - 2025
I'm sorry, please would you repeat this news? And maybe with a photo or two? JRC maybe currently in A&E following a discussion with their wife. Had a DPD delivery text this morning whilst I was at work. No problem I said to myself, it’s just a strap. The wife won’t mind. Just got home to 2 new ...

Re: January Sale - 2025
Gutted that i missed the C9 Moonphase as its top of my list of CW watches, especially in blue 😢 I think it was actually a C1 Grand Malvern Moonphase, if that's any consolation. Or maybe that makes it worse?! I prefer the C9 over the C1 Grand Malvern given the choice, but I’d be more than hap...

Re: Fibre optic being laid past my door - how exciting!
We joined in with a community initiative to get fibre into 3 villages. That had to get a minimum of 300 properties to sign up which would trigger a grant of £4750/property with the only tie being that you had to agree to take broadband within 12 months of the connection being available. The choice o...

Open reach are installing overhead network to we country yokels as we speak. Our existing network is a mixture of copper and Aluminium download speed of 2.7 upload 0.6 so we’veh`d to resort to Starlink as 4g doesn’t give us more than 12 download. Looking forward to being upgraded but the engineers a...

Re: January Sale - 2025
Not quite going to plan. Incoming being delivered today but I have to go to a meeting and so the wife will need to take the delivery. I need to break it to her gently and hope that the pair of boots that I bought her last week will lighten the atmosphere a tad. Here goes, I hopefully will see you on...

Re: A very good holiday watch indeed!
The more I look at and read about the Sealander GMT, the more I’m certain that this is the watch for me as my daily work watch. Has the looks and presence and yet retains its practicality and wouldn’t matter too much should it get knocked arao7nd a bit.

Re: What’s ahead in 2025?
I’d like to see some new CW dress watches with a day/date complication and some numerals. Oh and for a wild card, how about a regulator. On a personal level, I’m looking to possibly place a long term order of a Dornbluth & Sohn and adding to my Yard o led pens which I just love the craftsmanship...

Re: Favourite complication
Most used complication. Day/date. Especially at times like this where I can loose track of what day it is Most admired complication would be a astronomical moon phase such as the CVDK which I think are stunning Most technical complications that I admire would be the day night complication from Krayo...
