US showroom questions for the forum members …

Post by MikePearson55 »

Evening all,

Excitingly, we will be announcing how to book appointments at our US showroom in Frisco Texas next week and I am busy decorating the room at the moment now that the walls are painted and the floor is in. It is very minimally at the moment as we open but I want to add certain items, images and watches that will help tell our story to the space.

It is a space to truly understand the brand for anyone who enters and your help would be wonderful.

I’m coming up to 10 months with CW now (thanks for the support btw) and have loved learning more about the past 20 years from CW collectors like you but I’d like to know from you the following if you don’t mind …

Which five - ten watches from the past 20 years (don’t include today’s collection such as Bel Canto or current Trident, Sealander etc …) best reflect CWs evolution from first watches through to around 2022.
I’m thinking Logo changes, case upgrades, movement improvements etc

Would any of you have extra CW swag from over the years?
Old Hats, mugs etc … I do not have much in terms of new swag to trade but I’ll see what I can put together if you do have things you might part with. I’d love to have something from the community in the showroom.

I believe we have all the old loupe images but are there any old CW magazines/ print articles you can point to that I should print and frame for the walls?

Any ideas from you all are welcome and very much appreciate the time in advance!!

Please DM me or email Michael.pearson@christopherward.com

Thank you so much

Mike

Great idea, Mike, and it's good to know the showroom will be up and running soon.

For your question about notable CW watches over the years, what sprang immediately to mind is the Forum Watch of the Year.

Details may be found in the Fun Facts section of the CWArchive of which this is a screen shot;-

As well as following the link within the archive, there are details of each year's watch in the News section of the Forum.
