Good morning All
Well I've just about shook off the Hangover from the event. I and my Plus one, had a great time, after being lucky enough to win an Invite.
It was so lovely to meet some fellow inmates prior to the do, and see the Boys and Girls from CW in the flesh.
I now realise also, that I may be a genuine nerd, as I recognised quite a few of the Content creators who were there.
Although the style of the watch is not really for me, the engineering as shown in the documentary is fantastic and it is a beautiful thing.
I got to try on Peter Ellis's one, that's the Orange one, on my wrist, in Rich's photos.
The whole evening was IMHO a big success, everyone I spoke too, was very impressed. So hats (Baseball caps

) off to Everyone at CW.
Unfortunately I only took a couple of grainy photos, of the venue. Mike France summed up in his introduction to the film, how iconic it is. Hallowed turf to use a Football reference.
Lastly, I had a Chat with Matt Sweatman, a very nice young man. And he pulled a CW trident Lumuier from his pocket, I won't swear, unlike some in the 18 certificate film. But it was blooming amazing !! on his sample, were solid hands, which for me made all the difference, it was very interesting to hear why they weren't on the production models and why the final design has part skeletonised hands, for want of a better term.
It's all to do with weight, don't you know. As solid hands would just be too hefty and bend.
If his version comes up in a sample sale, then I may have to part with a chunk of my savings.
Regards Steve
