He looks really down to earth.
He certainly was when Chris saw him… :)

As it happens we didn’t speak about space or anything space related but chatted about golf 🤦‍♂️😂

How he'd never landed an Eagle?

Al Shepard came closest. He used a 6 iron on the 14th at Fra Mauro. Ed Mitchell reckoned he took a big McDivot.

If anyone isn’t already aware of this then I’d highly recommend the BBC world service podcast series 13 minutes to the moon. Series one is about the moon landing but also covers the history and development of the Apollo space program. Series two is all about Apollo 13. Both are well worth listening to.
Thumbs up for the podcasts. They’re excellent. I’d also recommend Andrew Chaikin’s brilliant book. Best I’ve read on the subject, because he tells it really well without dumbing down.

Good afternoon everyone, I owned a Bel Canto and regrettably missed the tickets release date for tomorrow's event in London, by any chance anyone has a single spare ticket please?
Happy to pay of course

Spoke too soon. From Facebook Reels:

Irrespective of the actual number of 'oomans who've visited our moon, if you're going to the Watchmakers' Show tomorrow, have a great day.

Another good podcast about the moon landing is 13 Minutes to the Moon published by the BBC. Awesome archival audio and great interviews from the people that were involved. I might have to listen to this one again myself!
