2025 Redbar Crew UK x Christopher Ward Tour
Hey all,
This year I have been very proud to bring the entire Christopher Ward collection to so many watch communities all across the US & Canada and throughout my watch career RedBar Group has always been so important to how I communicate our brand message to their members and so, to start 2025 I am heading over to the UK to join my colleagues in a very ambitious six city Redbar UK tour to start the year off the right way!!
I’ll post individual notes about each Redbar chapter in the coming days but please follow the chapter on instagram that is closest to where you live, they can let you know how you can become a member (which you definitely should) and once you are a member they will give you all the details about the event such as location, time etc but for now, this is where I’m heading to and I truly hope that we get to see a lot of you when I’m home ….
Jan 8th - @redbarsoutheast
Jan 9th - @redbarbristol
Jan 10th - @redbarmcr
Jan 11th - @redbarglasgow
Jan 16th - @redbar.leeds
Jan 17th - @redbarlondon
Thank you so much
Mike

Looks like the usual big hole in the central/eastern part of England. Unless the South-East one ventures north of London?

Steve, it's interesting that you should make this observation. @MikePearson55 's original post had me surfing the net last night trying to find out about Redbar: the usual first beginner questions like who, what and where. In the end the lack of public domain information which a google search could find caused me to give up.Amor Vincit Omnia wrote: ↑Sat Dec 14, 2024 9:08 am Looks like the usual big hole in the central/eastern part of England. @tikkathree
It doesn’t bother me too much, Pete. Apart from the Admin Team’s visit to Maidenhead last year, I haven’t travelled to meet up with people and talk about watches since before Covid.
Guess what? I haven’t missed it either.
I did find a record of a meeting for the South-East chapter and it was in…yep, you got it…London!

Steve when you say usual big hole in the central/eastern part of England, do you mean…
That your local Redbar chapter isn’t one of those chosen for Mike P’s tour, or that there isn’t a local chapter in your neck of the woods?

@nbg
Possibly either, or neither, or both, Neil. As Pete says, it seems very hard to track down any actual information about the local chapters in the UK.
I couldn’t see anything in Birmingham for example, or in Norwich, Nottingham, Cambridge and so on, all of which would be easier for me.

There are no Redbar groups in the Midlands or Liverpool area but I’m hoping to have more info next week for an event for Forum and CW collectors. This is stage one of more events that are not in the usual geographical areas.
Thanks so much
Mike

Best place for Redbar info has always been Instagram but once you find a club they use email, text etcAmor Vincit Omnia wrote: ↑Sat Dec 14, 2024 10:23 am @nbg

I went into instagrim and found redbarcambridge which I've attempted to join: I'll keep you posted. Scrolling through the images I fear that activity since 2023 might have been a bit low-key.
