@tikkathree
I googled Redbar Cambridge and found the join up link.
They appear to want to know the name of the Redbar member supporting your application as well as your names on forums and social media.
A bar too far, methinks!

Just putting out feelers, but is anyone in Edinburgh or across-east thinking of going over to Glasgow for the event there?

The Red Bar groups in North America have attracted some very large crowds. I highly recommend if you can attend to do so. A wonderful chance to see Mike Pearson in action and see the complete CW line in person. The bonus is you get to meet some great people and talk about CW and horology in general. Go if you can. You won't regret it.

Re: 2025 Redbar Crew UK x Christopher Ward Tour
I joined RedBar for the Edinburgh event a year or two back. I didn't have a supporting member from the group but just added a few sentences about who I am and which watchie parts I'm known around. It's understandable that for a passtime/passion that might involve transporting your watch box to show it off to other watchies that some form of connection is helpful to keep everyone and their watches safe.Amor Vincit Omnia wrote: ↑Sat Dec 14, 2024 6:59 pm @tikkathree

The event was so cool and friendly. I'm really hoping I can get to Glasgow

^^ I would reach out to the Red Bar Group via Instagram if they haven't contacted you yet.

Re: 2025 Redbar Crew UK x Christopher Ward Tour
Were you trying to get on board the Red Bar event in Manchester?
If you're not successful, maybe CW's own event, hosted by @MikePearson55 not far away in Liverpool on January 14th is an option?
Further details are here;- CW Liverpool Event

Re : the Glasgow Redbar meet-up
I got my email from Luma (the online organiser) on Thursday; RSVPd, and then got a confirmation yesterday (Saturday) that I'm 'on the list.'
I'm looking forward to seeing the titanium 12X, a 38mm 12 (I've tried 36 and 40mm versions and felt that a 38 was going to be a perfect fit) and a lumière. I'm looking forward to trying on some titanium watches basically - I've previously felt that I prefer the heavier weight of SS, but am prepared to change my views. I'll also take the opportunity hopefully of trying on a purple bel canto again - just for the smiles.
Anyone else from CWF going to be there?
