Tudor Black Bay straps - not quite a NATO
Re: Tudor Black Bay straps - not quite a NATO
Can anyone else see Richard teetering on the edge of the slippery NATO slope???

No danger...
Can't be doing with the flappy bit that has to be tucked in, and can't be doing with excessive. unnecessary bits of steel attached at apparently random intervals.
However, I would happily own another of these Tudor straps - or something close to it.

Perhaps some of the NATO producers should take note (or even blatantly copy) the Tudor style? I'm sure it could be closely replicated without the fixed spring bar points to make it more suitable for multiple watch sizes.

Interesting read Richard and almost more interesting is the longevity of the nylon strap on your Tudor. I also prefer the bracelet for this watch (not my watch so my opinion means nothing )
Interested to hear Tudors take on the leather strap and deployant positioning?

The reason the strap is the 'wrong way round' is that this is perceived to be easier and the way it should naturally be done, whilst it is very strange at first you quickly get used to it and it is very common on high end watches.

I love the Tudor fabric strap, its on right now and very comfortable though I couldn't figure out the adjustment easily.
Based on the hole position, I think downer and I have the same wrist size. This strap will not fit 8" wrists/smegwina.

I do like the idea of a fabric strap, but cannot get on with NATOS.
The Bremont one that I have used is similar to the Tudor one.
If anyone is interested, Gasgasbones made them for Bremont and will still provide them if needed.

+1. It is the same across the Tudor range that carry deployments also, so definitely not a design flaw/error. Pretty sure it wouldn't have made it to market with such a flaw, surely.craig_rob wrote:The reason the strap is the 'wrong way round' is that this is perceived to be easier and the way it should naturally be done, whilst it is very strange at first you quickly get used to it and it is very common on high end watches.
