It’s the strap that has grabbed my attention! How intriguing. Can we get a good photo of it, maybe over on the straps thread?
The strap is a 'Spitfire' strap from Karl @ GasGasBones, Andrew.

For those who are not familiar with GasGasBones, Karl is a 'one man band' who is multi-adept at making stuff like his own pattern webbing straps, especially popular with the 'Speedy' fraternity, a wide array of custom built metal fabrication item including his renowned Time Machine (the subject of a forum topic last year) and his 6B watches.

Here's a link to the GasGasBones straps range, just scroll down until you see the Spitfire.

The ethos of the strap is simple. Its a single length of webbing that is infinitely adjustable, not only for wrist size but also the lug-2-lug of the watch.

I've taken a few photos, from which you will hopefully be able to see the route of the webbing through the various keepers etc.

I honestly thought he had ceased trading Guy. Good to see I was, as usual, wrong

^^^ He did for a while Chris. Got a job and went to work for someone. IIRC doing something completely different, after a short period decided it wasn’t for him and returned to the shed. :)

Karl took a 'Time Out' period to pursue normal, regular employment a couple of years ago but has been back in the chair trading in his inimitable style since then.

He opens for strap orders for a few days every six weeks or so, and in between time he's making 'stuff', some of which is quite fabulous.

Its eye opening to follow him on Instagram as I do.

EDIT: Neil beat me to this reply. :-k :-k

No doubt we’ll made, but…

The amount of metalwork makes it even more of a Walt strap, than a five ring Zulu. :)

^^^^ Agreed, Steve.

Totally over engineered for the task, which it does brilliantly.

Just typical of Karl's work.

Thank you for the post and additional photos, Guy. That’s quite a piece of hardware! I really like the look. It looks like it would be quite comfortable.

My only concern is that it might be too much hardware for my smallish wrist.

Cheers Andrew.

Its definitely, extremely comfortable a benefit of;-

1. 'Velcro' closing strip allowing easy adjustability for size of wrist and changes to wrist size during the day.

2. Being 25mm wide it spreads the load (pressure) on the wrist compared to an 18/20mm strap, and

3. As the fittings that have the loops attached to them for the spring bars slide through the strap, you are able to position them exactly where you want them, to get the watch to sit in the right place for you.

As to the hardware and small wrists, you may well be correct; the 'Real Estate' may well be a bit congested.
